Kansas 84 North Carolina 66

I love how Packer said "We've seen a lot of basketball games but we've never seen a comeback like this."

*cough* 31 *cough*

Maybe he didn't watch that game?

You knew UNC was going to make a run...

They cut it to 5 for sure, not sure if they got any closer.

KU was taking too many jump shots, once they settled down and started driving and feeding the post they got their mojo back and UNC started really hurrying and rushing things.

Both halves somewhat mirrored each other with those runs, but KU's was too much to overcome.

UNC is not that good of a defensive team and KU is a fairly strong defensive team...and KU just ripped them in the first half and held on long enough...

They got to 4 at one time and Kansas looked very tight. I really thought Kansas was in trouble and they responded. They started making better decisions.

UCLA and UNC both lose convincingly.

I agree.

Seeing U.N.C. get beat up was a great way to end the night.

:thumb:Kansas got back to what got them the big lead to start with. Spreading the floor, using quckness, going inside with back door cuts, Making Hanbrough defend someone.

Packer tends to "forget" things about U.K.. :sssh:

Although, I did see Packer's comments about Bill Keightly and his passing and I must say that they were all class.

He stated that he wished that he coud have went to the service and that Keightly was an example of what is right with college basketball. Packer stated that he admired Keightly and was very sympathetic and complimentive in his talk, comments on Mr. Wildcat.

The Tar Heels finally had to play a post-season game outside the friendly borders of North Carolina.:jump:

:dancingpa As it was in my house.

No surprise to me. I knew Kansas was very capable of this.

I thought UNC would win this one and they were absolutely manhandled. The Jayhawks big men were unstoppable down low. UNC looked very lackadaisicle in the half court offense getting the ball stolen many times from just not being aware of where the Jayhawk defenders were. When UNC cut the lead to 4 I thought they would make the improbable comeback and then RW takes out Hansbrough and Lawson. Not sure I understand taking out two of your starters when you just cut a huge deficit to 4.

Kansas goes on a big run and closes it from there.

A Kansas win keeps my bracket alive. I have Memphis winning it all 88-84 Monday night.
