Kansas 84 North Carolina 66

I was very impressed with Aldrich, he took it right to Psycho T on several occasions and also outmuscled him for some rebounds.

I agree...I was more impressed with Arthur though.

Yes, but I expected it from Arthur, I did not realize that Aldrich was that good.

Tyler is as good on offense as anyone I have ever seen in the game....but he can't guard a fence post!

he is a HUSTLE guy, but he's not really a pro prospect...that's ok.

40-12?

40-12?

Yep and they were able to cut it to 4, before Kansas regrouped.

I know. I watched it. UNC played probably the worst 15 minutes since Roy has been there. Tar Heels just ran out of gas.

I have always considered Bill Self a choker because he could never make the Final Four.

I have always considered Roy Williams a choker because he could never win a championship (although he later did with a team he didn't recruit except one player).

No, I have to say that since Self got the Final Four monkey off his back, he'll be one of the dominant coaches in the game. Roy Williams? Still a choker.

I always get a kick out of this when this is said...

Roy takes over for a team that had not made the tournament in 2 years, completely turns the program around and wins a championship in his second year. On top of that loses his top 7 scorers and has a outstanding year with mostly freshman. Not to mention he brought his unranked team into Rupp and knocked off a ranked UK team. I am just glad UNC did not hire a coach that came in and saw his team regress in wins, lose to couple of poor teams on your own floor and get booted out of the big dance in the first round. But that is my opinion and you have yours... :thumb:

I am not agreeing with SSF about Roy. But, Billy G. had a talent deficiency and injuries to the five best players on the team. Crawford and Bradley only missed 3 games between them, but the injuries to Meeks, Patrick, and Derrick hurt. Jasper did come back, but will not be fully healed until June.
