He does as does Nigeridger (Sp?) and Smith, Smith will be the point Guard next year. Wilson is good, but has to learn to play within him self and not force up stupid shots as he is prone to do. I want to say I'm forgeting somebody but I can't think of who it is.

I think Scott has a chance to be very good next year. Need O'Conner to continue to improve and Smith to continue to develop over the summer. I see where Smith is playing for one of the Shining Star teams and I heard O'Conner is as well. that should provide those two a good summer of basketball.

Jake Kramer of Lloyd, he's about 6'3 175... He should have solid season, filling the shoes of graduating Josh Craddock.

David Darnell and Brandon Housley from Newport should be on the list. a bit south, add Trent Maddox and Zac Jones from Gallatin County.

What does everyone think about Andy Roenker of Holy Cross? I think if he can get over playing timid, he could be a nice contributor next season for the Indians.

 

I think Andy's basektball upside is a bit limited because his primary focus is on baseball and football. It's just tough to be a 3-sport star these days because while you're out playing baseball during the Spring and summer and football during the summer and Fall, the up-and-coming basketball players and pretty much playing it all year around.

I agree Andy is a gret kid. But have you seen him throw a baseball. He has great stuff. Basketball is his 3rd best sport right now.

Agree about watching for Scott. Also watch St. Henry as they return many players who played well last year.

Would Beuttel fall under this category? He's had some recognition, but some still might not know about him. Very good PG for the Tigers. Has range and has height on most other PGs.

Very few people know about Eastin from Dayton who could lead the region in scoring, and I would add a the entire Newport team in here.

 

When Eastin faced any type of physical defense or one strong defender he struggle immensly.. For Newport, if there coaching gets the discipline together on that team, very, very dangerous..
