I agree Andy is a gret kid. But have you seen him throw a baseball. He has great stuff. Basketball is his 3rd best sport right now.

 

I thought his basketball future was up in the air.

Brandon Tucker, and Arkansas Brewer.

Brewer played for them at some point, maybe two years ago. Hasn't Tucker always been there (at Newport) but never gotten to be on the team for a variety of reasons?

From what I remember, Walton had a very young team last year with some decent young talent. Names like Brockman and McNiel come to mind. Any info on this group?

Seems I've heard the name Arkansas Brewer get mentioned on here for the past several years but still haven't seen him do much for whomever he plains to play for..Whats up with this youngman and what year is he currently.?:confused:

Arkansas is a Junior at Newport. Both he and Brandon Tucker will be on the Wildcat roster. Newport has the potential to be very dangerous this year.

Bret Betz of Ludlow may not be heard of every night in the paper but has the opportunity to make a name for himself. Can shoot a 3 like no other and passes like he has eyes in the back of his head. He has the chance on any night to score 30 with double digit assists.

Keep an eye out for 6'3 Sr Dom Johnson of Holmes. I've spoke to several of the Holmes faithful as well as Wimzie and Henley and all have said DJ is a player to really watch out for.

 

He was one of the top players in nky as a freshman but has had to sit behind the likes of Austin Hill and Arrez Henderson the past two years. At this point he's expected to start over Housely which just goes to show how good the kid really is.
