No but High Coachs should do a better job of helping players get the looks of colleges! Yes you are right but name some D1 player over the last two years from that area! It is not to many but yet it is the hardest region very year! The only team that plays out of state teams in USA Today top 25 is LexCath and Scott Co. So for your son you go to the other schools in the area? OK

Are there players in that area that didn't get a Division I offer because their program didn't help them "get the looks of colleges?" Name them ...

Let me say this Nick Hudson is 5'10 very good play for the last two years. Has played forward last year. And this year played two and three the whole season. Now Nick was one of the best points before Dunber. Now Chad Jackson is a 6'5 point guard if he is the tallest player on the team what do you think he will play for them? Mike Sparks 6'3 for Tates Creek plays the forward, can shoot light out. Played one and two before Tates Creek! What will they do with Chad Jackson play them at Center? Just to name some!!!!!11

I'm not really sure what that was, but Mack chose Butler before the bigger schools wanted to get involved. Maybe Mack saw something he really liked in Butler. They are becoming a very solid team year in and year out, so its tough to really hate on him. I don't think you can really blame the coaching staff either. The kid didn't want to open the process back up when other schools wanted to get involved.

If Jackson ended up at Station Ligon would play him where he needed him and would be the most effective. With the loss of Mack, that may be on the perimeter. Ligon isnt an idiot and if he has a kid with perimeter skills then he will use those and not stuff him down low.

Shelby County will only get better every year with 4 sophmores this year that got state tournament xperience and a 6'7 freshman that will be playing next year.

A lot depends on where Chad Jackson ends up ...

The Hounds will be just as good if not better than Hazard...:thumb::thumb:

I don't necessarily disagree, but I don't think I said anything about Corbin and Hazard.

I'll give it a try.

1. Scott Co.

2. Holmes

3. J-town

4. Dunbar

5. Elliott Co.

6. Clark Co.

7. Ballard

8. Bryan Station

9. LexCath

10. Manuel

I am sure Hazard, CovCath, Boone Co, and PRP just to name a few will have great teams, but thats just a few that I think will be the best next season.

I think Holmes might be a little too high. I see them as a top 10 team right now, but I want to see how they handle the loss of a very good senior class first. Henderson will be irreplacable and Holmes won't have the same depth they had last year.

IMO they have 2 D-1 juniors and Ricardo Johnson's brother is a nice player as well. And I am sure they will be able to put more athleticism on the floor.

I agree. They without a doubt return the talent to be a top 3 team in the state next year. I was just stating I wouldn't put them top 5 YET. They will be able to replace Avery with Riley, who as I've said has a better shot and is a better point guard, but Holmes won't have the same depth as they had this year.

They will have a VERY VERY good starting 5 and will probably have 3 6'5 plus guards in their lineup in R. Johnson, Pittman, and sophomore to be Arnold, but I want to see how they handle only having two seniors on the team next year. I know they had a pretty good JV team too who went 20-1 losing their only game in the JV regional semis to CCH, but I'm not sure how those kids will adapt at the varsity level.

Add a team ! :ylsuper:

The Mason Co. Royals played several teams ranked national in various polls.

I've got no problems with transfers, but it seems to me that everybody isn't on the same playing field. If a player wants to move to a smaller school, red flags are immediately thrown up and an investigation is oncoming. If the same kid wants to go to a school with a great tradition and a well known coach, well that is okay.....Play on.
