That kid didn't look 6'5 to me. Probably more like 6'3. It could make for a nice "package deal" for someone though. His son looks like a ball player. I believe he had some successful squads at Bell Co. but never sealed the deal. Where was he before that?

I'm not really sure what that was, but Mack chose Butler before the bigger schools wanted to get involved. Maybe Mack saw something he really liked in Butler. They are becoming a very solid team year in and year out, so its tough to really hate on him. I don't think you can really blame the coaching staff either. The kid didn't want to open the process back up when other schools wanted to get involved. If Jackson ended up at Station Ligon would play him where he needed him and would be the most effective. With the loss of Mack, that may be on the perimeter. Ligon isnt an idiot and if he has a kid with perimeter skills then he will use those and not stuff him down low.

For the Eta Rho guy, I dont think SC has gotten transfers every other year. Who is the last one they got before Guyn? Best I can remember was Hundley from Dunbar way back when. I'm talking like the late 90's for him. He should get a job in the same area? How many engineering jobs can there be in Ashland? I'd say his chances are pretty good in Louisville or Lexington. Makes sense to me.

If a parent is trying to find a job, doesnt it make sense to look in one of the bigger areas of the state with more industry? I know I'm coming in late on this one as a newbie, but I tried to read the whole thing and can't see how its any bigger deal for Euton than it is the kids at Holmes.

It wasn't one of the worst regions, but no way he deserves Coach of the Year either.
