The kid at Lex Cath used to go to Lafayette but "moved" and was immediately eligible. Lafayette and Catholic are less than 1 mile from each other.

I still haven't figured this one out. I guess it helps when the KHSAA is located in Lexington and depends alot on the name of the school.

Hate that I missed all the discussion over the weekend about the Euton transfer. Definitely now wish I was not in Atlanta.

I have heard from a realtor friend that the Eutons have already been looking for houses in Scott Co., and the Demling article pretty much seals it that Euton is headed for SC. I have heard the possibilities of Jackson coming as well, but I dont know what the basis would be. I know that Euton, Guyn and Jackson are on the same AAU team, so there is a connection there. If the KHSAA rules on this on a case by case basis it makes eligibility for Jackson seem interesting.

Rumors have a talented 8th grader transferring in next year and attending the 9th grade orientation. No details on any of that yet.

Should be exciting to watch SC next year regardless if anything else happens. They could be considered immediate favorites for the state title.

This probably the Ivy kid from Bondurant Middle School. One of his parents works for Toyota.

Jackson mother works for Toyota. She has been off work because of injury for the last two years.

I am alittle confused here and need alittle help.

With the Euton kid leaving Rose Hill, what does his family have to do to become eligable for next year?

I know they have to move but if you wanted your kid to play for 4 different schools in 4 years is all you have to do is to move to the schools territory?

If I understand the rules correctly, a move would allow a kid to keep his/her eligability intact for the upcoming year but the KHSAA can interfere if they feel the move is solely for athletic gain.

I don't see any way in the world they could prevent Mr. Euton or Mr. Jackson from suiting up next season at Scott Co.. I for one will do my best to go and see them from time to time. Sure did enjoy them while they were here. Bet you won't see too many triple teams on Mr. Euton next season. Good luck to you 2 fine young men and their respective families.

Euton and Jackson should pair up nicely with Phares and Guyn for the states overwhelming favorite to win it all.

Scott County seems to get alot of transfers!:lol::lol:

Where is Bondurant Middle?

Might be the favorites, but they will NOT be overwhelming everybody.

It is the middle school for Western Hills.
