Could this be a trap game for Mason?

They blow out Elliott last month, they are high after winning the 10th and could they be looking ahead to the Paducah Tillman/ Greenwood winner?

Elliott could be in a favorable position if Mayes can get them in the right mindset that they indeed can play with Mason.

T. Knipp is capable of stopping someone in the post, but a player like Miller will take him outside and beat him off the dribble every time but if you say they can't stop someone in the post you probably havn't seen them play much this year. Now Darius would give any team fits in the post. Miller will probably guard Ferguson again so every one else will have to step it up for Elliott to have a chance.

 

In the region Elliott played Ferguson mostly in the post. Miller will definately have no trouble stopping him there. From what I heard some people were complaining that he was shooting to many three's, and was scoring to much!

The last time these two met Mason was shooting the lights out and Elliot coudln't buy a shot. Stopping Mason is not about stopping Miller he can't beat anyone by himself. I'll say Mason wins unless Elliot can hit allot of threes..

T Knipp couldnt handle the strength of Darius in the post. Darius is strong enough to back Knipp down and then just dunk over top of him. Knipp is capable of guarding someone who likes to fade away. He is long enough to block a player who goes that route, but cannot guard someone with Darius's strength and jumping ability.

They run a motion offense with all players flashing to the wing looking for the three. Ferg is a good post player, but the only time he goes to the post is when he has a small guard or someone close to his size on him. One thing I can assure you of, you won't see Ferg posting Miller up.

Mason by at least 15. I will be rooting for the upset though. No answer for Miller and Setty.

Freshman or not, someone is going to have to step up and stop him for them to win. And IMO, Timmy Knipp is not able to stop Darius Miller, inside or out. But I think it is inside where Darius has the advantage. Honestly, Darius has an advantage on just about anyone anywhere on the floor.

It has truly been a great year for you fellas and I applaud you highly for your run back to the big dance......Sorry for the wall you guys are getting ready to slam into but you have really been exciting to watch. We'll regrettingly see you next season when you come into Raider country and whip us again. :lol::lol::lol:
