This game is going to be a close battle. I missed the first time these two played. What kind of D did GRC play? They have been playing a lot of man-to-man lately. Will they try that? If so I could see Stenzel guarding Miller and Williams and Marc Miller taking turns on Middleton but who will guard Setty? Also do you think D. Miller will guard Stenzel? Who will Downing guard?

Same exact score as first round of regionals in 2004.

Don't we already know how this will end up? If the Clark team that showed up for the Bourbon game and first 3 quarters of Campbell game shows up no contest. If the Clark team that showed up for the Montgomery game and 4th quarter of Campbell game shows up then it could be close.

I don't think the Cards play well in a physical game. Campbell county elbowed and held until the fouls caught up to them, and with not much on the bench it cost them in the end. Montgomery plays very physical and when the refs call it close they lose. I have seen Mason finese their way through games and seen them play pyhsical too. It will depend a lot on the way the refs call it. Clark County can play with anyone, just not real physical game.

Mason county: stop Miller when you can make him play defense and he can be foul prone, but he will get his points if he wants, stop everyone else you got a shot at beating them. Just my humble opinion!

Mason will win this matchup. Clark County was exploited off the dribble last night by Campbell County. Hatton and Stenzel are nice offensive players but will have to play both ends in order for the game to stay respectable. I find it funny that many Cards fans keep stating that they played so bad last night. Could it be that Campbell County played well last night and that Montgomery County simply didn't show up in the district final?

Mason by 13. Miller takes over from beginning to end

Mason County looks to be on a mission through the first three games of the post-season. They've scored 40 or more points off turnovers in each of the games - 45 last night.

 

However, it's safe to say that the level of competition will be different from here on out. This should be a competitive game, as has aleady been stated it will be Mason's battle-tested veterans against Clark's battle-tested but younger squad.

 

Clark will probably have to withstand one or two of Mason's patented runs. If they can do that, they have a chance. Mason probably goes on as many or more 10-0, 16-4 runs as any team in the Commonwealth.
