When Mason County is hitting on all cylinders like they have been in the previous 3 games, they are going to be a tough out. They bring that same killer instict and guard the ball the way they have the past few games, look out. Should make for a great atmosphere in a semifinal matchup Saturday.

 

Come press they have played well but the competition hasn't been so great either.

Mason county fans you better get up real early on saturday morning. If you don't you might not get a seat. Because Clark County will definitely be in the building. I hope this years game is as good as last years because I didnt get to attend that one. Good luck to both squads. GO CARDS!

I am more or less speaking of having the killer instict needed coming into the post season, despite who the competition and it starts with defense. Nothing they have done prior to the post season matters, whatever they accomplished, whatever trips they made, all that is nothing unless they get it done over the weekend. The accomplishments that have been made, buzzer beater over Catholic, the wins in Hawaii, the individual accomplishments, the regular season wins and losses...all that means squat unless they cut the nets down at Montgomery County. Defense wins ballgames!

Maybe. Maybe not. There isnt realy a whole lot to do in Winchester so we might just spend the rest of the week in mount sterling. It really kills me that the winner of this game will probably have to face a really good Montgomery County team 24 hours later, on their home court. If they take care of their business first. Tough task.

I just think Mason is on a roll right now. Clark will play close until late in the second or early in the third, and the Mason County will go on one of their runs, and never look back from there.
