Louisville 90 Notre Dame 85

Featured Replies

Luke Harangody is the man. Louisville looked excellent on the offensive end. The difference

in this game was the press as Louisville rattled ND early with their defensive pressure.

All in all, you take away the first and last 6 minutes of the game and it was very even.

You add both and it probably made it closer.

Unfortunately this does nothing, or very little at the most, to quiet the skeptics of the Irish

on the road.

Good win for UL

Harangody is unreal, especially at the end, pretty impressive. Good win for UofL.

Quality win for the Cards. :thumb:

Anybody know the record for individual game high for a Louisville opponent? I can't remember anybody killing us like that in a while. Would like to have seen better defense, obviously.

This is a big win for the Cards, this keeps them on pace with GTOWN.

WTG Cards!!!

Incredible start by the Cardinals and their defense was the difference for the first 36 minutes. They did a nice job on McAlarney but Harangody was just on fire down the stretch. Great win and the game was never really in doubt even though the FT shooting was suspect.

The defense wasn't bad. I think the 85 points is a little misleading. They rattled ND with the press and held them to 1 three-pointer in the first half. They held McAlarney to 1 three and 7 points. Harangody was just on a ridiculous streak at the end--he didn't have a three all year and hit 3 straight in about 2 minutes, plus McAlarney's 25 footer with Padgett flying at him.

Outstanding game, especially the second half. Huge win for the Cards who are looking doggone good.

T-Will was incredible, as sick as he was (and he really was sick.)

I'll confess I only got to see the last 15 minutes or so, so my comment was based on an incomplete picture. I guess if nothing else this lets L'ville know they can't relax on anybody at this time of year, no matter the lead.

I'll agree quite a dunk show on the end.

ND only had 56 points with 4:30 left in a very up-tempo game, then Harangody went crazy. ND scored 29 points in the last 4:30--lots of crazy 3s, lots of fouls, lots of possessions. With the Cards FT shooting, they definitely can not relax on anybody.

Harangody is a warrior. If he could have split amoeba-like in the last five minutes,

Irish could have made it even more interesting.

The race down the floor for the loose ball, the save and the out of bounds deflect off

the Louisville dude was flat out awesome. Harangody is a hammer!
