The fact that Mohawk wasn't directly referred to in the dress code is simply ridiculous . . . it is implied . . . anything that causes a distraction. She knew this and was warned three times . . . she was looking for a fight. I would have told her not to let the door hit her in the behind. The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree . . . good riddance.

At six, just getting thier hair cut is a chore. This is a mom with a mission. I agree that she is just pushing buttons to get a First Ammendment Case out of this. I don't want to offend single moms, but she just seems to be one that is doing whatever to get alittle extra $. It's moms like her that can give single, hard working moms a really bad name.:mad:

Parents need to be held accountable and teach their kids that there are rules in all aspects of life and if you make a mistake then their are repercussions. Unfortunately in some schools there aren't clear and consistent rules and policies and people interpret rules in different ways or they twist rules and policies so that kids can still participate in various activities. They make up little bogus punishments and all they end up doing is teaching kids that there are ways to get around the rules. When rules are followed then the coach/teacher/administrator earns respect. When you play with the rules as I have seen in various situations then you lose any chance at respect and creditability.
