Do you really think they can win 3 games in a row against the best teams in the country when they run no offense and can't hit free throws? The last two years, they have won 3 but can't get the 4th (elite 8 to final four). It will be a real challenge to do any better. The tournament format, especially later rounds, does not reward depth and game pace nearly as much as the regular season and early rounds. This has been Memphis' formula. And their offense is not traditional spread and post (not many teams are). Memphis has not had good inside play in either of the elite 8 games the last two years, and I don't see any reason (look at the UT game) to think it will be any different this year.
