What doe everyone think? I strongly believe he should. Eddie Sutton went on to have a great career after the scandal at UK. To my knowledge there hasn't been anything here as major as what UK got caught doing, although the multiple offenses makes it worse. I believe he should have another shot. I think he is a great coach and deserves another chance. IMO, he will be coaching not next season, but the season after that.

Some school somewhere will give him a chance to coach. I doubt he will ever be at a school in a BCS conference!

I think that maybe he should but the question is would anyone hire the man? I think that if Sampson does return to the game that it will be quite a while and should be. I would personally have to question anyone that would hire him within a couple of years, to me that is too soon and he after a short time would go right back to his usual cheating.

Sampsom cheated at Oklahoma, he has now cheated at Indiana. I just don't know if any A.D. would trust him enough to hire the man. JMO.

I guess we will know more after June, but I'd say he will get another chance to coach. It seems like all coaches that have been caught up in scandal end up on their feet.

Even if he don't coach again, he can make a good living as a spokewsman for Cingular, ATT, Verizon, etc.

I don't think there should be a rule or banishment against him ever coaching again. However, I don't see why in the world anyone would give him an opportunity.

I see him going west for a few years. Schools out there seem to always be willing to give guys a chance and they are always looking for great guys. Look for him in the WAC, Big Sky, etc.

Should he? NO. Will he? Most likely.

 

If Eddie Sutton was able to resume his coaching career after almost destroying the Wildcats' program, Sampson should have no problem finding somebody to give him a third chance.

If someone wants a cheater, sure let him coach.
