Should Sampson be able to coach College bball again?

Some school somewhere will give him a chance to coach. I doubt he will ever be at a school in a BCS conference!

 

I agree, he will have to go to a low or mid-major but if he does well there and keeps clean then a major school will give him another chance.

What if he ended up at South Carolina or LSU? Its doubtful, but strange things sometimes happen. I do think he will be back at a major school, I just don't know how long it will take.

I think he should be allowed to coach for anyone that will hire him. But, I also think he should receive the same penalty as a school would and those penalties would follow him to any school that would hire him. In other words, he should receive a post season ban for a couple of years with loss of scholarships.

Exactly how can a coach be banned from the NCAA, and what is the criteria for it to happen?

He has done it at two schools. I agree someone will hire Sampson. Wonder if his new team will use the song "Cheating Hearts" to warm up too.

If the NCAA is smart, they will take IU to task for hiring him and not putting enough "institutional control" in place to monitor his activities. If the NCAA wants to send a message to any school that is looking at Sampson, they will pound IU. IU knew what they were getting and still decided to hire him. Its all on them right now and should be...
