February 12, 200818 yr You won't catch this ole' boy eating any sushi. :creepy: I like to think of myself as having a somewhat refined palate, but sushi is just flat-out nasty. I've tried it a couple times, and no dice.
February 13, 200818 yr The name escapes me right now but off of the Mineola Pike exit off I-275 near Hebron is the best IMO. It starts with a J...... Benihana's is pretty good but of course that isn't their specialty. Where is it exactly? Is it by the Marriott or on the NKU Mets Center?
February 13, 200818 yr You won't catch this ole' boy eating any sushi. :creepy: You gotta try it once. Heck, my boy at 10 yrs. old was eating quail egg soup. He'll eat sushi, squid, just about anything weird we can offer. It's actually very fun to try different stuff and makes for a fun family night out.

Benihana's is pretty good but of course that isn't their specialty. It is Jo An's and it is very good. The restaurant was put there to cater to the folks at Toyota and it is always full. The address is 3940 Olympic Blvd. If going west on 275, take the Mineola Pike exit and turn left. Take the next right. Looks like a bunch of office buildings. Enjoy! My second pick would be Sweet Basil in Crescent Springs. Also very good. Love the spider roll there. Not all sushi is raw. I only eat cooked seafood.
February 13, 200818 yr I don't like fish cooked, I very highly doubt I'd like it raw. My sister-in-law said the same thing and couldn't understand why I liked ahi tuna. Then she tried some and now every weekend she calls and wants to go to some seafood restaurant.:jump:

February 13, 200818 yr Me and Tusi will stick to our potted meat!:ylsuper: I guess I'm wacko as I love Spam on one end of the food spectrum and I love sushi on the other end. Ironically, I'm not a big steak lover. Almost every time I go to Ruby's (and contrary to what Henry might say it is not weekly) I order fish. When I order red meat there its usually the lamb. Mt Adams Fish House is the best. The place in Npt on the Levee is okay, but not close to Mt. Adams. Our one son does eat all the bizarre food but wouldn't eat a simple casserole if his life depended on it. P.S. I like Jo An's, but I think the Fish House is better.
February 13, 200818 yr P.S. I like Jo An's, but I think the Fish House is better. I've never had either (at least since I have been eating Sushi) but I have only heard great things about both of them. Are they the same in price? (not that I have the money for either, just wondering )
