DragonFire Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 What a bunch of crap on that. What they called a foul on there at the end was no different than the guarding that they had done on the previous 'Nova posession. How can you take a game from a team like that?
TheDeuce Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 That was the worst call I've seen all year. No contest.
Jim Schue Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Boy, McDonough let 'em hear it over that ending. And deservedly so.
HammerTime Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Boy, McDonough let 'em hear it over that ending. Rightfully so. No way should any decent offical call that.
Cdirty107 Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 No way you make that call in that kind of situation. Horrible...
TheDeuce Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 The worst part of the whole thing is that Reynolds was almost knocked to the floor on his drive to the basket with no call...
DragonFire Posted February 12, 2008 Author Posted February 12, 2008 I don't even think it was a foul, but everyone knows in that situation he had better be pulling out a lead pipe and hitting him in the knee to call a foul 70+ feet away from the basket with less than a second.
panther15z30 Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 That is the worst call I've ever seen. I think I scared my roomate with my loud and profane screaming. :sssh:

Im not sure he even touched him....

JBCousins Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 They had called the body contact on the drives the whole second half, then don't give the 'Nova player the call as he was bumped from the wing to the baseline on the final drive (resulting in a turnover...which is fine, let the players decide it on the final possession), BUT then they call the bump on the 'Nova defender with .1 seconds left, 80 feet from the basket....Jay Wright should be furious!
NobizLikeShowbiz Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Speaking of bad calls, did anyone see the clock issue in the UT-Rutgers game? Wow!
DragonFire Posted February 12, 2008 Author Posted February 12, 2008 Speaking of bad calls, did anyone see the clock issue in the UT-Rutgers game? Wow! I saw that too. Two awful calls in less than a minute apart. It's like one was trying to outdo the other.
