To prove that you can't take what weather forecasts say seriously...On one station in Louisville, 2-4" are expected....Flip the channel, that changes to 6"...

It's like that in NKY too. Of the 4 news channels, I've learned not to watch/listen to Channel 5 weather.

WKYT in Lexington is calling for 6-12" in an area from Covington down toward Louisville.

Western Part of the state is getting hit with Freezing Rain and sleet. Most schools have dismissed around 12:00 to get the students home.

That's comical when all our local stations are reporting 5 inches max.

What is the forcast for south central Kentucky?

Calling for 2-4" in Louisville...That translates to about a trace.

In Louisville that also means rain!

^^^^

We are getting it here in the Western part of the state.

Bring it on...I ain't skeered of no snow!!!!

We have had such a mild winter I really feel this time we are going to get hammered. I can just feel it don't asked me why I just know we are going to get it this time. I hope not because I hate to drive in it with the other stupid driver's that think they can and just fly. Oh well I wish everyone the best tomorrow morning and their commute's wherever they must go. I will have the usual 1 1/2 hour snow drive from Erlanger to Cincy if it gets bad. I will definitely be leaving early for work tomorrow. JD

That sure looks fun.. :irked:

Hey, that's pretty cool. The map is self-updating. I must be some kinda jeenus.

I noticed that when I went and looked at one of the severe weather threads...The radar was completely clear.

Tomorrow's rush hour should be interesting. It seems like whenever we get the bad stuff, it occurs right around then. I recall it taking my 5+ hours last year to get home, and at the time I left, it's usually a 30 minute drive. :irked: Luckily, I have the option of working from home, so I might just stay home a little later than usual tomorrow morning. :D
