Is Shaq really worth this kind of a trade? I can understand Banks, but Marion?

I would assume Marion will be immediately. Shaq is definitely questionable, I'm sure they'll want him as healthy as possible for when the playoffs arrive so he may see limited games/minutes for a while.

So Marion averages a double, double, has played virtually every game the last 7 years and you get someone 10 years older, who can't shoot free throws, can't run the floor anymore and obviously can't stay healthy enough to play for extended periods of time.

I am surprised at the Suns for this trade. Great deal for the Heat. Git rid of a huge contract plus get marion, one of the better all around players in the league.

I kinda like the trade for the Suns. Amare can now move to the 4 and Shaq will put fannies in the seats more so than Marion.

Marion gets a lot of stuff off hustle. They never run plays for him, I dont know how negatively it will effect him.

If you think about it, Shaq is the new Kareem. The Showtime Lakers ran all the time like the Suns, then when they didnt have something they slowed it down and gave it to Kareem. Worked out pretty well for them.

Marion doesnt have a small contract either. Banks is over paid as well and has 3 years left on his contract.
