February 13, 200818 yr Are you saying that you don't remember or that it didn't happen? What's the difference? This whole thing is a joke, the guy cuts Clemens off before he finishes any sentence..
February 13, 200818 yr This whole thing is a joke, the guy cuts Clemens off before he finishes any sentence.. Thats probably because Clemens' credibility is much like UK's current morale.
February 13, 200818 yr Thats probably because Clemens' credibility is much like UK's current morale. Credibility or not, the more he talks the more he hurts his case, why not let him finish?
February 13, 200818 yr Credibility or not, the more he talks the more he hurts his case, why not let him finish? In a way, you've answered your own question. Clemens continues to dig himself into a deeper hole with everything he says on television. The public is sooo tired of hearing what he has to say, that they would rather not hear anything at all (except anything that could possibly benefit this whole dilemma).

This isn't exactly him talking on TV, this is him talking to a jury under oath. Wouldn't they rather make a fool out himself so they can prove that he is lying?

That could very well be a way to go about it, but then you take the risk of Clemens backfiring, stating something along the lines of him being mistreated during the judicial process or what have you. Personally, I think he IS lying...so I dont care how the justice system goes about prosecuting him, just as long as he does get officially caught and punished.
February 13, 200818 yr Okay this is now getting interesting, caught in a lie, and having attorneys tell him what to say.

February 13, 200818 yr Sounds like I need to voluntarily strip search Clemens' wife for possible injection points. All they need to do is call...
February 13, 200818 yr Roger is starting to get hot.. If he isn't carful, he might end up saying something, out of frustration, that he shouldn't if he wants to keep his slate clean. A Few Good Men anyone?
