fieldhousekrayzie21 Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Who is the best college basketball player to ever come out of the state of Kentucky? Where does Chris Lofton Rank among them? He is by far the best active player.
UKPat02 Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 He's middle of the pack. Wes Unseld may be the best.
cshs81 Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Darrell Griffith and Wes Unseld come to mind. Tom Thacker comes to mind. Wah Wah Jones comes to mind. Clem Haskins....
strike-3 Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Cliff Hagan's got to be up there, as is Rex Chapman.
fieldhousekrayzie21 Posted February 6, 2008 Author Posted February 6, 2008 He's middle of the pack. Wes Unseld may be the best. Middle of the pack? There have been thousands of players come out of the state. You think he is just top 500???
UKPat02 Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Middle of the pack? There have been thousands of players come out of the state. You think he is just top 500??? I'd say he's easily one of the 100 best to come out of the state.
fieldhousekrayzie21 Posted February 6, 2008 Author Posted February 6, 2008 I'd say he's easily one of the 100 best to come out of the state. Wow. I just think thats crazy. Even though you say easily, you mean to tell me there are 75+ players better? I say he is at least top 25 and that may be very conservative.
1996 Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Put your five best ever on a team by position and see where he comes in.
bellalumni40 Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Wow. I just think thats crazy. Even though you say easily, you mean to tell me there are 75+ players better? I say he is at least top 25 and that may be very conservative. I would say I'm surprised coming from you, but that would be a lie...
pigman Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Lofton's probably in the top 50-75 wouldn't put him any higher. He can shoot and has developed somewhat of a game of the drive, but I wouldn't rate his defense real high. Wes Unseld would be my number 1.
malachicrunch Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 I'd go with Griffith. I thought Dirk Minnifield was pretty tough
BucksFan Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Alan Houston Jamal Mashburn Wes Unseld Darrell Griffith Sam Bowie
