Very Dangerous Weather out there tonight

Featured Replies

We prayed a lot last night....for the safety of everyone. What a horrible storm system. Memphis really took it hard.....I hope everyone of our BGP family is safe and sound this morning.

Barren got rocked pretty hard last night. Got woken up at 2am with Tornado Sirens.. third time they went off all night. I believe Allen County and Monroe County took the worst of it though. Had the scanner on all night, and an Allen County Sherrifs Deputy found 3 infants near a trailer that had blown out into the road. I havent heard anything else.. I sure hope they are safe and ok! Horrible storm!

UPDATE: WBKO13 is now confirming that 4 people were found dead in Southern Allen County near the Tennessee border... i'm guessing near the community of Amos. Devistating.. just devistating!

OK.....I am not one that ever gets freaked out by weather....

But last night when I woke to the tornado sirens...I was a little bit scared.

I just saw two down trees in Lexington around campus, I hope everyone is okay.

Glad you were happy to do it LBBC, not me.

:laugh: Today's kids are wimps :irked:!! They don't know how good they have it. :D

I have the feeling, OR, it won't be morning when they hit. They'll hit sooner than that if it is entering Boyle County now. And my girls are on the top floor of their dorm at Transy!

the National Weather Service shows Boyd and Greenup Co under a tornado watch until 6 a.m.

You were certainly right, the wind and storms/rain were way earlier than that. We still have some street flooding here but nothing to compare with what some are dealing with today. Prayers go out to all the ones devastated by these storms.

Never really got anything here in Boone County. It got windy, but nothing too bad. Hope everyone is safe this morning.

High winds in Lex. right now. Knocked the power out for a minute a little bit ago.

I was just about to say the same thing. A few minutes ago, it was blowing much harder than it ever did in last night's storm.
