TD, I agree Central should be tough again next year!!!

McCreary County has 3 times the kids in the weightroom than they normally have and they are working hard. Plus they have most of their defense returning and their big play maker will only be a Jr. I say look for a much improved team in the 2008 Raiders from McCreary County.

1. very good jv team from last year.

2. they can't get any worse.

I'm thinking that Newport will make a turn around. Hopefully Coach Hyder will adjust some areas with the staff. He has a good staff but I believe that some areas need to be look at overall. Coach Hyder knows his stuff so I believe he will make the right decisions. Good Luck next season Coach Hyder.

Henderson county will not go 2-9 this year. With a year of coach Clevengers offense under their belt i look for the Colonels to be back at the top of the district.

Whitley Co. they should be great next year

 

 

I don't know about great but they should be improved. They improved last year althought the record did not show it, and if they have that much improvement again this year they will be hard cats to clean after.

With the experience gained last year and the heart these boy's showed I'm going to say Lewis County.

The Tomcats were hit hard with injurys from the start. I don't think they ever overcame that. They never played well as a team the whole season. IMO I think they will come back strong. The talent is there if the coaches can put the pieces in the right places they should have a good season.

Leslie Co. should improve on their 2 win season from a year ago.

i look at Bourbon county to keep getting better. Taylor Barnes should win some game by himself next year.

I agree, Ashland had a big turnaround. I have to say too, that I expect Ashland to have a very good season in '09. Ashland may have to gain some experience on the line in '09, but the backfield is all back with Hunter, Carter, and Alber. That backfield will be tough, if Ashland can replace some linemen with some quality big guys.

Is this about biggest turn around from 07 to 08 or what is expected in 09?? Many seem to be confused.

 

Biggest turn around from 07 to 08 for me is Monroe County - chased out of the playoffs in the first round in 07 and then giving Ft. Campbell all they wanted in the Semi-final in 08. (07 Record 2-9) (08 Record 12-2)

 

BGP should have given more consideration for the Coach of the Year to coach Pettet, not even a mention.
