UK 72 UT 66

Featured Replies

Ramel Bradley fails to get to the 20 point mark tonight for the first time in 7 games. Tonight though was the best game I have ever seen him play. Controlled the offense. Awsome denial on Lofton. Made far fewer bad decisions. Great free throw shooting.

Player of the game.

Great game for the Cats. Usual contributors did their thing but the man of the night is Perry Stevenson

He is starting to become a big factor for the Cats.

I agree with the above. Ramel played great D on Lofton

There is no doubt that UK has improved (or has Billy just stopped running them on gamedays?). It is sad that UK could not have played this way when there was a serious chance to make the NCAA's. It will take a phenomenal effort from here (like say winning 11 of the next 12) for them to have any shot. But this was great to see.

Happy to see that Chris Lofton's last trip to Rupp Arena in college ended just like his last one in high school - in a loss to the team I love.

Awesome....The best "D" they have played all year...:dancingpa

This UK team has more grit than any UK team I remember...

Short memory?

UK plays GREAT D and forced UT to slowing the game down.

And I agree with that... never said that they didn't deserve it.

Bradley was the key as he put the clamps on Lofton down the stretch. UT wanted to run the half court through their leader, but Ramel made that impossible...

This might not matter this year but it just shows you what this team is capable of and gives you a lot to look forward to next year.

UT does not play good defense in the paint. That will kill them come March Madness if not corrected...

Well isn't that just nice..

Hey....let me enjoy this season before I have to come with reality and the inevitable :irked:

Congrats UK. Maybe the win they need to turn around the season.

Kentucky did play great defense down the stretch against the 3 point shot, BUT the Vols showed why they blew a 20 point lead to Ohio St in the tournament last year. This team is hitting its shots, they go to the Final Four, they start missing and they will be out in the 1st or 2nd round.
