Darius Miller. No brainer.

I think very highly of Darius Miller and his a great player. Much thought has to go into Shelvin Mack from Bryan Station, he plays his hardest every night, and helped turn around the entire Bryan Station Basketball program. How many other ky players have produced a triple double this year against a top 5 opponent?

IMO Mr. Basketball alot of time depends on State Tournament performance, I have seen all 3, I believe if Hopson would play 100 percent he would be my #1, Mack is the most well rounded player in the state and is one of the most talented players IMO since Lofton, Miller is obviously a team player but I think he is going to have to take a more leader of the pack role to be Mr. Basketball or he is going to end up like Matt Walls, simply a good player on a great team with other good players.

I love D. Miller and am a hugh Royal fan,But right now if the season ended i think Mack should win it.

Where is Mack going to college?

Never mind. I just read where he is going to Butler.

Miller for Mr. Basketball.

Hopson is lazy on D. He would fit in well with the rest of the gang in Lexington though. :thumb:

I agree with you mhighfield. I root for Miller and the Royals but Mack has to be the front runner at this point. Miller isn't agressive enough. He could take over most games but for some reason he chooses not to. I know people say he is a team player well that's bull to me, they would be a better team if he would get more agressive.

They look like a good team to me. :thumb:

Ranked #1 or in the top 3 isn't bad IMO.

I think Mack is a front runner right now. He is playing really well and his team is playing the best ball right now. But, I think it is a race between Mack and Miller. I think which ever of these two takes his team the furthest in March will win the award. Although Bryan Station plays in a better region... Both of these players are very deserving of the award because they mean so much to their teams. Either way these two Kentucy boys will represent the state well after their High School carrer.

Yeah I think if only one of them makes it to Rupp that one may win the award. Although Mason is a heavy favorite to win the 10th it wouldn't look too great for Miller losing in the region two years in a row despite being one of the top ranked teams in the state.

Jr., yeah he may get it next year.

Hood is having a good year in his region. Then they played a 6th region team in DeSales and lost by 16 and hood went 6 for 16 from the field and 0 for 5 from the arc. 2009 will be a good race.

Mack is a player that makes his team go. Completely fills the stat lines and keeps his teammates involved at the same time is what makes the Defenders tough to beat. Bryan Station has very little height and Mack at 6-2 is one of the taller players and you'll find him defending the post as well. Mack would be a fine choice and so would Miller.
