When would a kid going to Butler ever be chosen over a kid going to UK?

I don't think he would lead the SEC in rebounding, but he could get his fair share. I have seen all three play (Mack, Miller, and Liggins), all are very good ball players and will make fine college players. I just think that Mack has the intangibles to lead. Similar to Lofton. Let's not forget that Rondo, Bradley, and Crawford were suppose to be much better recruits than Lofton. Four years later Lofton has led Tennessee to a top 5 ranking, while Bradley and Crawford has led UK to an 8-9 record with an upset victory over the Vols.

Well, let's see, when UK is 8-9 and Butler is 15th in the nation. Or when the voters look at their senior HIGH SCHOOL season, instead of where they will be next year, considering that's what the award is based on isn't it?

 

And I guess your counting Hopson out? Who, in many people's opinions, has much more talent than Miller and Mack, and is being recruited by a lot of big college basketball programs.
