January 22, 200818 yr What if they really do exist and they are just so much smarter than us is why we can't prove it? And maybe they know just which ones of us to beam up and experiement on. Maybe to them, we are like fish in the ocean. Fish don't know we exist, they don't know anything beyond their environment. They just swim around there in the deep and then when we yank one of them out, all the other fish are like "Where's Fred?". And you just know when we turn one loose, and he goes back and tells his story, none of the other fish believe a word of it.:laugh::laugh:

January 22, 200818 yr  In this day and age with cameras, video cameras, and now with cell phones with cameras wouldn't someone have taken a legitimate picture or video by now? There have been hundreds of pictures that have proven not to be fake, just unknown. About 10 years ago Phoenix had over 10,000 witnesses see one. I Believe.
January 22, 200818 yr I never did believe in them untill I saw Hillary Clinton......:scared: That is not from around here......:lol:

January 22, 200818 yr There is a great line from the movie Contact that best sums it up for me. No, I'm not saying that Contact is based on a true story. I believe Jodie Foster's dad in the movie tells her: "If we are alone in the universe, there is a lot of empty space." Maybe not perfect, but that's a general idea. Just no way I can believe that we are IT and that Earth is the only place with life. Just can't believe that considering no one knows just how big our universe is or what else is out there. I don't believe we are alone in the universe. However, the universe is unimaginably BIG. Mathmatically speaking there almost has to be life, and probably intelligent life at that, somewhere else in the vastness of the universe. But the odds of our being visited by aliens is doubtful. The distances in space are so great that even if we could travel at the speed of light (which most think would be impossible) at 186,000 miles per second, or 6 trillion miles per year, it would still take 100,000 years to cross from one side of our Milky Way galaxy to the other side. The closest star to the earth is 4 light years away. And our galaxy is not a large galaxy compared to others, and is only one of billions of other galaxies.

That is the reason we do not see a lot of them, it takes a while to get here.
January 22, 200818 yr Ha-ha-ha! Hello, boys! I'm back! We won't believe you either, especially about the probe.

So how did Captain Kirk and the Enterprise get around so well in the universe? I mean they could hop from the the Federation areas to the Klingon or Romulan empire in 60 minutes, or one episode.
January 22, 200818 yr So how did Captain Kirk and the Enterprise get around so well in the universe? I mean they could hop from the the Federation areas to the Klingon or Romulan empire in 60 minutes, or one episode. Techically Kirk only went into Romulan territory once, on a secret Federation madated mission. To enter Klingon and Romulan Terriotry is a violation of the peace treaties that were in place at that time. Kirks ship I believe had a max cruising speed of warp 8(8 times the speed of light). The USS Enterprise-E commanded by Jean Luc Picard had a Max Warp of 9.9.

"Just unknown"...like I said, not legitimate. Just think if you're out in the middle of the desert 20-25 years ago (or whatever the timetable would be on that) and the government is testing the Stealth Bomber. You've never seen anything fly or hover like that. What did the people in Phoenix see? No one knows. People THINK they see a lot of things....like leprechauns...

I mean they could hop from the the Federation areas to the Klingon or Romulan empire in 60 minutes, or one episode. Maybe they did it like this. A scene from the movie "Spaceballs". Dark Helmet: Wait! (raises up his mask) What happened? Where are they? Cononel Sandurz: I don't know, sir. They must have hyper jets on that thing. Dark Helmet: And what do we have on this thing? A cuisinart? Colonel Sandruz: No, sir. Dark Helmet: Well, find them, catch them! Colonel Sandruz: Yes, sir! Colonel Sandruz: (on the intercom) Prepare the ship for light speed. Dark Helmet: No, no, no. Light speed is too slow. Colonel Sadrurz: Light speed is too slow? Dark Helmet: Yes. We're going to have to go to ludicrous speed. (everybody gasps) Colonel Sandruz: Ludicrous speed! Sir, we've never gone that fast before. I don't know if the ship can take it. Dark Helmet: What's the matter Colonel Sandruz? Chicken? Colonel Sandruz: Prepare ship for ludicrous speed. Fasten all seat belts. Seal all entrances and exits. Lock all stores in the mall. Cancel the 3-ring circus. Secure all animals in the zoo.... Dark Helmet: (takes the intercom) Give me that, you petty excuse for an officer! Dark Helmet: (speaks into the intercom) Now hear this, ludicrous speed... Colonel Sandruz: (interrupts Dark Helmet) Sir, you'd better buckle up. Dark Helmet: (into the intercom) Ludicrous speed, go! (Spaceball 1 begins to go so fast that Dark Helmet is hanging on the ledge and is screaming as Spaceball 1 goes from light speed to ridiculous speed and then to ludicrous speed) Dark Helmet: What have I done? My brains are going to my feet!!! (the scene outside changes from straight lines to some kind of plaid color and sails over the Eagle, the ship they are chasing) Barf: What the hell was that? Lone Star: Spaceball 1. Barf: They've gone plaid!
