Songs Most People Love But You Hate

Featured Replies

Songs where the lead singer sounds like he's passing a large kidney stone.

Hinder, Nickelback, etc.

Second whoever mentioned Toby Keith.

And I always get some flack by saying I'm no fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Sweet Home Alabama

Gimme Three Steps

Freebird

Flirting With Disaster

Yellow Submarine

My Head's in Mississippi

I've always said if most rappers had to sing a real song they would be in trouble. Rap is mostly rhymes spoken to a deep base musical background. Not much singing imo.

Is traditional singing a requirement? If so, we can eliminate a lot of genres.

Singing period should be, and they don't at all. Heck, they don't play an instrument either. If Rap's considered a song, wouldn't an audio book just be one long song set to silence?

If the audio book had music ....

I hate anything where it has screamin' in it (that old heavy metal head banging stuff.) It creeps me out and it sounds like the devil is coming for you.

I'm more of a country and bluegrass person.
