January 19, 200818 yr Remember this...dominate is a verb dominant is an adjective. If you have forgotten the difference between a verb and an adjective avoid using either word. AHHH! That kills me!
January 22, 200818 yr For me, it is paragraphs. If it is one big long paragraph I have a hard time reading it and staying focused throughout the whole post. Guilty! I will try to do better. Tough when you are trying to post when the boss is around the corner.

January 22, 200818 yr I tend to write as I would speak. Sometimes, I let thoughts trail off, or into each other......and that's when I use ellipses. Just thinking.....it makes posting more....shall we say......conversational. Just a thought..... I know what you mean.....I have the same problem....also...tend to change subjects...in the middle of my thoughts....then go back to what I was saying...well you know....talking about before...by the way....what was I talking about before??!!! :lol::lol::lol:

January 23, 200818 yr This isn't something I need to do, and it's more of a bad habit than anything... But I tend to use ellipses more than I should... See, that's twice just in this post. If I'm actually writing something I don't use them, but for some reason when posting here I find myself typing them repeatedly. I do that too. I try to write my posts or e-mails as if I was talking and I use the "..." to indicate a pause. I think I get my point across with those. You'll never see me complaining about the overuse of ellipses.
January 23, 200818 yr You'll never see me complaining about the overuse of ellipses.In all seriousness, only use elipses when it's appropriate. Overuse of any punctuation makes a post difficult to read. That's why we have rule #13. So please be careful!
