Yep, the stuff I read earlier in the week is completely different from what was shown here, BUT I didn't want to reveal any spoiler stuff. With the film now officially out as of today, this thread can turn into spoiler central. BEWARE SPOILERS needs to be added to the title of the thread. :lol:
January 18, 200818 yr I'm watching either tonight, or within the next week. They've done a great job with the promotion of this movie by making it so secretive and mysterious...I wonder if I'd had the same interest level had they just come out and promoted like normal. I doubt it. As it is, I'm looking quite forward to seeing it. The concept seems pretty cool to me...
January 18, 200818 yr I just saw a commercial for the movie and now that I know what to look for I did see the flipper/legs in the background, look unfortunately like this is going to be the monster. From what I now understand this is not the monster. A guy who done a review on the movie said that the monster is not what we think at all and that everyone will love the kick-butt monster. They said it looks unreal and the fans will love it!

January 19, 200818 yr I saw the movie and that picture doesn't really look like the monster in the movie. It was a very good movie IMO.
January 19, 200818 yr Just got back from the movie and was over all entertained but a bit disapointed. The monster was really not the story as much as the struggle of the victims. There was parts of the story line that could have really made the movie take off, SPOILER ALERT----like the virus part of it, but that was not pursued. It boiled down to man vs evil or love prevails over everything. Heck my wife went with me and got sick at her stomach from the shakey camara shots throughout the whole movie,(yes we knew it was going to be that way) but it was for the most part over done. I give it a B- but one that most people will see out of pure curiosity.
January 19, 200818 yr For those of you who saw it, did you stay to watch the credits? There is something hidden at the end and if you listen in reverse you will hear... SPOILER IN WHITE BELOW If you stay and listen to the credits you hear some stuff that you can't understand. But if you play it in reverse (obviously when you get home and find a file that can be reversed) you hear someone whisper "It's still alive".
January 19, 200818 yr Spoiler in White below Also you could see something hit the ocean when it showed the end of the film that he had left in the camara before the party....I guess that it when it arrived.It is on the right side of the screen and splashes down in the water
January 19, 200818 yr TERRIBLE MOVIE I too got back and we wondered if Paramount ran out of money in the making of this. People were coming out complaining of headaches and upset stomachs. I put up with that to watch a "B" movie with no plot and a crappy ending.

I put up with that to watch a "B" movie with no plot and a crappy ending. Anyone who knew anything about the movie knew it was shot with a hand held camera like Blair Witch. It had a plot and a good ending IMO. An odd ending, but a good one.
