I thought Hud's character was actually funny throughout the movie... my favorite line of the whole thing was very subtle and some that saw the movie might not even remember it but I laughed out loud when I heard it.... I guess I should write this in white too... When Rob Beth Lilly and Hud are running down the stairs after they got Beth and have to fight off one of the things giant insects things that fell off the monster, Beth says "What was that?" and Hud responds "Something nasty... And terrible..." lol

I actually thought his line about encountering a homeless person carrying fire or something was the best line in the movie. You knew he would keep going once they told him to shut up, but that line was priceless.

He was talking about a homeless guy on fire. Saying people were setting them on fire... and of course they were in the pitch dark tunnel. He was hilarious.

I would bet my bottom dollar that there will be a sequal, althought it would take to serious bridging to do it unless they went a totally different way, more of a main stream type of film. I would think that there several different angles they could go at from.

I liked the movie overall but wish the ending was done a bit different.

I went and seen the movie today..I really liked it but my gf didn't like the ending. She said she wished it would have came to some kind of ending, like either it showing them dead, someone else picking up the camera, or something. She said there was no resolution..lol

It has already been said that a sequel will probably be in the works!

Judging by those 500lb bunker busters.... I think you can sum up the ending for her! My friend was also confused. I was thinking half way thru the movie... if there video tape was found, they obviously don't survive.

I thought the shakiness (is that a word?) was worse than the Blair Witch, maybe because there was almost constant action. I did like it, though. Has to be a sequel...cause someone found the videotape, right?

I saw on our local news that people were getting sick and running out of the theater. This did not happen when we were there, but I could feel a headache coming on. They said the theaters were offering refunds if you decided with in the first 30 mins that you could not watch it!

The current sequel idea I read came from the director and he said something to the effect of:

During the scene on the bridge when the monster attacks, one of the lead characters that is filming turns his camera and sees another guy filming him. So the director's idea is if another film happens is to do another take on that night from someone elses point of view.

Course the director also mentioned the obvious stuff for a sequel, where the monster came from etc, etc. I don't mind the "another point of view" sequel, it would just have to be done to darn near perfection for anyone to care, actually, ANY sequel will be difficult to swallow since there will be no mystery going into part 2.
