Sorrell is a good player and is deserving off the positve talk but I'm curious to know his shooting % although he scores alot he takes alot of shots. Again I'm just curious and he is good!

 

The Enquirer only shows his stats from the Holmes, Brossart, and CCH game. He's shooting 58% from the field including 62.5% from 3.

1. arrez... most athletic best all around.. makes any team good

2. sorrel... hc plays a rigorous schedule and he averges mid twenties in points..

the rest aren't close...

Agreed. They're all different players which makes comparisons tough. I firmly believe that McGraw would have offers right now from D2 and potentially D1 schools if not for his injuries.

After what I've seen, I would put Avery in the top 10 in the region. If he's not, CovCath is the clear #1 team based on how many players they have mentioned in this thread.

Henderson is by far the best player Holmes has.

It's pretty obvious that both Henderson & Sorrell are great players. Either one is probably worthy of POY honors. There's still a lot of season left, we'll see what happens.

Just for the record, Henderson ALONE did not shut Sorrell down. He shadowed him all night and as soon as Sorrell received the ball he was swarmed by two or three Holmes defenders. It was not like he shut him down one on one. Not trying to take anything away from his defense, but it was a TEAM effort that night.

It usually is a TEAM effort "every night" by any Team. And most night's Sorrell drops 20 + on everybody. I'll say it again...Hendeson's all around game makes him the best player in the 9th.

The point was...how many games has he been held to six points? If you want to agree that Henderson's D seperates him from the others, and makes him the 9th's best player, then your welcome.

According to the KHSAA website you are wrong about no one being able to out shoot him.

 

Henderson ranks in the top 20 in the state at .609 overall field goal percentage. Sorrell is nowhere to be found in the top 20 and the lowest is .581.

 

Krohman from Bonne is making 3.2 3pts a game at 46%. Again, no Sorrell to be found.

 

Cameron Speed from St. Henry is the only NKY player in free throw percentage at .794. Sorrell did not make this list either.

 

Again, Sorrell is a fine player and is leading the NKY area in scoring at 23.8 points a game. But to say no one can out shoot him would be an inaccurrate statement.
