Titans Can Chow

Featured Replies

You have a quarterback who isn't a drop back passer, who may never be a drop back passer. So let's blame someone else. Yep, that will solve everything.

Chow is on the market? I can think of a team or two who could use him.

In order for the Titans to compete in a division with Indy and Jacksonville, they are going to have to get much better on offense. I'm not so sure Chow was the problem.....very young RBs and WRs, unproven QB in the passing game, average OL....the GM needs to fill some holes this offseason.

Vince will be fine.... The lack of playmakers cost Chow his job.

They should have took Lienhart (sp?)...

That wouldn't help much, Leinart isn't any better than VY at this point.

If you're looking for a NFL qb that can be successful in his career at doing what a qb needs to do, Leinart is your guy. VY will always be an average NFL qb who cannot win the game with his arm.

Leinart knew the offense, he ran it for years at USC, he'd be fairing better there IMO than he is in AZ

You may be right. However the best QB out of the three who was taken in the first round is Jay Cutler of the Broncos IMO. I think he will be the best one out of those 3, if he isn't already...

I wonder who they will get? Obviously Jeff wasn't satisfied with the 9 throwing touchdowns this season.

I honestly wish the Bengals would get rid of Bob Bratkowski, and get Norm Chow to be the offensive coordinator. Vince Young is just not the type of QB to fit the system he runs. Plus he has already had a relationship with Palmer, so he knows what Palmer could do, so I think it would be a good fit, because our offense needs a change...

Chow has said that Young was the toughest adjustment he has ever made in coaching. Chow is like a godfather of the passing game and Vince is a QB that would be great in a system like Denver's with a lot of bootleg/sprintout kind of stuff.

It will be interesting to see if Chow ever gets a head coaching job. I bet Tenn Vols wish they would have waited another week or two on their hire. He is an outstanding college offensive coordinator! I wonder if Neuheisel will go after him?

What about a college OC job, is UT still open?

That is a possibility.
