January 16, 200818 yr I wasn't expecting the Titans to let Chow go. Maybe it just wasn't the right fit...traditionally, he has excelled with QB's, but he's never had to coach a guy like Young. Chow has always been more of an agressive, passing OC...while Fisher is more of a smash mouth, run the ball guy... I really don't see this as a situation where they're trying to "blame" someone and I didn't get that impression at all from what I read. My guess is that it wasn't the right fit and they want to go in a different direction. But, I could be wrong.
January 16, 200818 yr Looks like the Titans are trying to bring Mike Heimerdinger back as the OC...I thought he did a great job for them in his previous stint and really hated to see him leave. He and Fisher have a closer relationship as well. I think this would be a great move for the Titans if it works out... http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3199273
January 16, 200818 yr Author Wow--I would LOVE to see the Dinger come back! Now they need to get a reliable sticky-fingered WR.
January 16, 200818 yr Did Chow coach Carson at Victory U. I think Carson would be pulling strongly for Chow to come to Cincy.

January 16, 200818 yr I personally don't think the Titans will ever make it with Young at QB. He is a slower, less athletic Michael Vick. I am not saying Chow could have done any better with a different QB but I definitely think the blame is being laid in the wrong lap here.
