NCC played very good defense and finally took off in the second half... This is a team that is riding very high right now...

Wow! 30 points, thats it?? Either there was some serious "D" played or the Tomcats were just terrible in this contest.

Tough loss for Ashland. I'm sure they'll bounce back.

Well I didnt attend the game but listened to it and they said Ashland played terrible. I dont have any stats but they layed a big egg tonight after playing well last night.

Ashland only had one player that looked to score and had probably 15 out of his teams 18 points at half. NCC really concentrated on helping out on him in the second half and held him to 2 points. He is a very good player. Neither team played very well in the first half. NCC looked tired from last nights overtime game.

You are correct NCC06, #30, Matt Thomas did not play much in 2nd half. NCC really did a good job with their help defence on Thomas. Ashland could not throw it in the ocean last night. Thomas had 15 of their 30 points and no one else could even make a layup. It was a poor showing by the Tomcats, to say the least. Hopefully, we'll get back on stride Tuesday.

Ashland is not right behind Elliott in the 16th region. They are also behind Rose Hill and maybe a few other teams. Elliott would smoke Ashland.
