Agreed. There is a lot of talent in that class.

 

While the 07 class of DJ, Hill, Bovard, Jacobs, Rice, Etc was good, the 2010 class looks to be good and VERY deep with talent.

Athletic. Needs to find more shot consistency from outside and a better handle. Not especially big. Goes to his left most of the time. I would say top 15, not top 5 at this point.

 

Avery will need to get a little bit more consistant on his outside shot, but sayin he is to small I don't agree with he is built like a brick wall.

Andy Roenker from HC. Needs to develop a little more of a shot, but is a solid defender and big kid.

After tonight I am going to throw George Grote's name in the mix as top 15 sophs in the area. He showed he can play with the 8th ranked team in the state and score as well as defend.

 

Rico Johnson is Div 1 material I am a believer.

George played a very nice game tonight.

 

After seeing Johnson and Kowolonek both tonight, IMO they are the two best sophomores in the area.

 

I'd have to say Rico is the best though. As you said, the kid is definetly D1 material and man can he get up.

After the game I watched I agree with Rico Johnson being a DI player...

Eastin did not play with McDaniel. McDaniel and 3 of the Boone boys played for the Shining Stars.

 

Eastin played on a team with Darnell from Newport, Watson and Grote from Highlands, etc.

Any word on Grote and if he got injured in the game last night. He came out of the game and was holding his arm. I thought he played superb and hope Willie didnt yank him just for the turnover.
