sportsfan41
Interesting, at the end of the season still couldn't get a good feel for VT, the only thing this tells me is that they probably were not quite as good as Kansas, so not alot.
JOHNDUNHOFT
This was fun game to watch. Kansas just had VT playing off their heals and could not figure out Kansas offensive schemes. Good Game and kept me in the Football pool at 24 and 5. JD
Jim Schue
What did the teams combine for? 15 INTs? Seemed like every time I looked up somebody was getting picked off, and that Talib guy was usually right in the middle of it.

threetimelover
That was a fun game to watch. Those type of games are what make bowl season so awesome.
The Sooner Surge
By far the most interesting bowl game this season; that Kansas defense sure is something else.
hokiefromky
...that Kansas defense sure is something else. The Kansas defense looked good because the Hokies offensive coordinator refused to run the ball. Every down field pass by the Hokies could have easily been intercepted. The hokies top two running backs both averaged over 5 yards per carry, and the offensive line was making holes. Too bad they also allowed holes on pass plays... It looked to me that VT's gameplan was to win in the air. When they saw that it was not working, they were too stubborn to change. The Jayhawks came out to win, and deserved it by the way they played.
Wireman
I think Kansas deserves a shot at the national title. Why not?

oldrambler
This one suprised me, the Kansas defense was better than I had expected in this one. I had picked Va. Tech and felt comfortable about it:eek:. I know that it is bc of the basketball but I just cannot stand Kansas in anything!

Tech did run the football they basically drove it down thier throat and then for whatever reason they went back to the passing game.
SLINK
Good game to watch. I wish Mangino would shed some weight. He is really unhealthy. His job is stressful enough without being 100+ pounds overweight.

Kansas clearly could not stop their running game, yet they kept throwing INTs. It was bizarre and if I was Beemer, I would be reevaluating my OC.
