January 3, 200818 yr Great win by WVU aided by Bob Stoopid's decision to kick onside at 20-15 despite having stopped WVU twice and having all the momentum. The 2 point conversion was the first call that was a little early in my book, but to follow on the next play with the onside? I guess Coach Stoops believed it was then or never.

I agree, Schmitt embodies college football. He reminds me of Pat Tillman, all out all the time. I loved hearing his interview, so much emotion, heart, and desire.

We hear all too often on some of the bad thngs that go on and that kids do, we need more of this kind of story/interview. I got choked up listening to him talk about his last game with great pride and pasion for his school/teammates and coaches. I was so glad for WVU to win this game, this team had to band together as "us against the world" mentality and along with thier interim coach who I hope gets strong consideration for the permant Head Caoching Job at WVU.. That man BLEEDS West Virginia! Just a great win for WVU after the loss to Pitt, Coach Rod leaving them and just about everyone marking a Win down for Oklahoma in this one (including me)

January 3, 200818 yr ^ You have to really scratch your head at some of the moves Bob Stoops made last night. They went for 2 in the middle of the third quarter; follow that up by a lame onside kick attempt; team was uninspired, etc.
