Tubby would have not have beaten UNC or Indiana for sure. There is two losses that are given. Provided he beat GW then went to NYC - he would have lost to Memphis for sure and probably to UCONN so there is 1-2 more losses. I think we still lose to Houston with Tubby or without.

 

I say at best he would still have 4 losses, probably 5 or 6.

The only positive I can find is that is has made most of us Cat fans better appreciate the football Cats this year

Well last year Tubby did beat Houston. I don't think they would have beaten either UNC or IU, but the IU game would have been closer than what it was. Also the UAB game would have been a win IMO...

I have a question should a player be praised for not practicing hard or being late. I know it has been many years ago when I played (football not basketball) that I would never have expected to play if I didn't practice hard or was late, I don't care if I fell asleep or not. My coach would not have cared if he won or what anyone else thought about it he would not have played you. I don't agree with his substitution method but I am not at practice everyday. I look at the first part of my post as a positive myself.

BCG should not be judged until he gets his own players. It is safe to say that the Tubster didnt leave the most athletic team in the bluegrass. (most players on UK's rosters need to work at McDonalds instead of being McDonalds all americans). It will take at least two years. You cant blame Gillispie for poor recruiting of the previous administration.

Certainly, but we're looking for positives. If you don't go back to the 12th game last year, they finished 4-7.

I think he has been giving everyone a chance to see what they can do and through my observation of the last game he is narrowing down to whose going to play. In the last game he played , whom I think will be playing most of the time, Patterson, Jasper, Carwford, Meeks and Bradley. I think they'll win some games. Meeks and Jasper add a lot to that team.

How many of those loses where to GW?

He HAS recruited well so far, you have to give him that. Bringing in Legion and Patterson, and then Darius Miller and DeAndre Liggins coming in next year.
