December 26, 200718 yr Is El Coyote still behind Thortons on Dixie? I always liked that place. Im pretty sure that place is still there, and Ill agree that they definitly dish out some good grub.

Just don't ever tell them you've never been before (there's a first time for everyone); you run the risk of having the entire menu read to you. Just a personal preference for Karlo's (formerly Italiano's). There's also an Indian restaurant across from the Florence Mall (Taj India I think it's called) if your tastes run that way (they do in the mcpapa family); their lunch buffet is a bargain.
December 26, 200718 yr There are several good places from Florenc, Crestview Mall and my favorite is El Coyote little pricey. Hoagy's is great in Crestview, Remingtons on Turfway is great and good portions and another favorite on Dixie Highway before 12th Street is Herb and Thelmas for a great cheeseburger and cold one. JD
December 26, 200718 yr Go to Salvadore's (formerly Pasqaule's) in Erlanger off Dixie Highway near Stevenson Road. You won't be let down and it's very close and inexpensive.

December 26, 200718 yr El Coyote's is my favorite, pork chops or steak is the way to go. Garzelli's, they have great hoagie grinders and pizza's. Montgomery Inn in Ft. Mitchell is not to far away, great ribs and onion straws.
