Best places to eat around Erlanger

I will be in the Erlanger area for a few days and was wondering if there was any resturants I needed to try.

I like Smokey Bones barbeque on mall road in Florence.

Hoggy's BBQ in Town Center (Crestview Hills).

Karlo's on Houston Road in Florence.

Im pretty sure that place is still there, and Ill agree that they definitly dish out some good grub.

Carabas is pretty decent. Just don't ever tell them you've never been before (there's a first time for everyone); you run the risk of having the entire menu read to you.

 

Just a personal preference for Karlo's (formerly Italiano's).

 

There's also an Indian restaurant across from the Florence Mall (Taj India I think it's called) if your tastes run that way (they do in the mcpapa family); their lunch buffet is a bargain.

There are several good places from Florenc, Crestview Mall and my favorite is El Coyote little pricey. Hoagy's is great in Crestview, Remingtons on Turfway is great and good portions and another favorite on Dixie Highway before 12th Street is Herb and Thelmas for a great cheeseburger and cold one. JD

Go to Salvadore's (formerly Pasqaule's) in Erlanger off Dixie Highway near Stevenson Road. You won't be let down and it's very close and inexpensive.

Not starting a fight or anything, but there is zero chance that a chain restaurant has the best Italian food.

El Coyote's is my favorite, pork chops or steak is the way to go.

 

Garzelli's, they have great hoagie grinders and pizza's.

 

Montgomery Inn in Ft. Mitchell is not to far away, great ribs and onion straws.
