RamCat
Raceland needs to find some depth on the mound. They return Josh Wilson and Shawn Reynolds. Other than that I there is really no one else with varsity experience. I look for sophomore Bobby Mckee (lefty) to step up and fill the #3 spot in the rotation. Dillion Keeton will also put in some quality innings this year. But as far as offense goes I think the Rams will be very well off. Peyton Martin will be the center piece of the lineup and will hopefully be moved from the lead off spot to 3rd in the batting order. Also on offense they return John Scott Carver, Tyler Boyles, Dillon Keeton, and Daniel Jones. Should be as good as anybody in the region hitters 1-5. If you move Martin to 3rd in the batting order who would you lead off. I don't understand that move. He can bunt. he is the fastest on the team. varsity
Does anyone have any idea which one of these players will be taking the starting positions and what position will they play? My best guess is that the Catcher will be Logan, 1st base will be Hieneman, when he is not pitching, 2nd base will be a toss up between Craft and Staten, SS will be between Zack Reed or Juan Staten, 3rd base Kyle Martin or Greenslate, right field will be Skaggs with Center going to Zack Stringfellow and Left going to Madden. But who knows!!! Can't wait to find out.
