Dale should be COTY. 7-5 last year and 15-0 and State Champs this year. Play's up 2 classes with 55 player's( Same number as LCA).

 

Exactly why Dale should win it. Only undefeated team in the state. But like already posted, Dale will take the big trophy and smile all the way to the trophy case.

For homer reasons, I'd like to see Dale win it. But I'd vote for Scroggins of Central if I had a vote.

I love Beatty, but Scroggins of Central should be the coach of the year. Can anyone name the last time Central won it all?

Ok, lets say we have to vote for someone who is NOT our coach.

 

In that case, I would have to go with Bluto. Coach Rains.

Fort Campbell's coach, IMO.

My vote would go to Shawn Berner of Fort Campbell. I don't know of any coach that had to deal with more off-the field issues every day than he and his staff. Not to mention the transformation and adjustments made after a bad 0-2 start.

 

I also vote for Shawn Berner. Amazing coach and has an amazing staff around him. Always a good sign of a great coach. He mentors these kids with heart and desire to give them more. Fort Campbell sure appreciates all he does for his team.

Haskin from Lone Oak. Who had heard of this team before the season had started? You can talk about their lack of competition all you want - they are still the Class 4A runner-up.

Scroggins and Louisville Central - outstanding coach and a great story - talent has always been in the school, but it takes a great coach and a motivator of young men to get them out of the hallways, out of the neighborhoods and onto the field. It is a championship experience like this that can change and positively affect young lives.
