April 27, 200818 yr You guys that liked this movie, I have an idea for you. Read a book untill you get about 20 pages from the end then tear out the last 20 pages and burn them. You will love that book also. There was no closure. It was like there was going to be a sequel. I was a little angry, I loved it until the ending.

The old cop realized he was in a new world and the bad guy got away. Does that bad guy always have to die in your movies?
April 27, 200818 yr I was a little taken aback by the ending at first, but then that is part of what makes it a special movie. It doesn't end like every other movie. Would you rather have had the cliche thing happen and he gets caught? Is that any more exciting?
April 27, 200818 yr There was plenty of closure. The old cop realized he was in a new world and the bad guy got away. Does that bad guy always have to die in your movies? I usually pull for the bad guy for some reason, I didnt want him to get caught but I would have like to have seen him and the main character have a final conflict. Or the cop and the hitman. I mean they didnt even show what happened in the gun fight that killed the main character. Closure?

I remember someone telling me that they like to make movies about the decisions people are faced with, and the consequences of those decisions. They didn't feel it was necessary to show that scene and I don't blame them.
April 27, 200818 yr I read the book about a month before I saw the movie. Both were great. PH looked at me after the movie and said "Well, I guess you can pick a good movie every once in a while"! LOL LOL
April 27, 200818 yr I haven't seen it but my buddy said he loved the movie and hated the ending. That is exactly how I felt. Loved the movie and hated the ending.
April 27, 200818 yr That is exactly how I felt. Loved the movie and hated the ending. Same for me as well.
April 27, 200818 yr I hated every thing about the movie. Should have read the book first, but I doubt that would have helped.
