Nice win BB and Ashland!

Sounds like a close game.

Congrats to Ashland on the win.

Congrats to the Tomcats on the win.

About what I would have expected. Nice win for the Tomcats against rival Boyd.

Just arrived back from the game and I thought AShland didnt play to well and if BC was going to beat them then tonight was the night. BC just didnt seem to good, IMO.

There were alot of fouls in the game and it didnt seem like the officials would let the kids play. I think Ashland is pretty good and they are young.

Interesting game to watch. Danny Coleman and Ryan Bonner played overall good games. I thought Boyd would be better than what they showed tonight but Coach Zornes will have them ready by season's end. I thought the officiating was consistent. Consistenly poor. Ashland is the only team that gets hammered at HOME. I am glad that our boys prevailed and Coach Biggs did a good job of making crucial adjustments. We got the shots we wanted and if that five point swing wouldn't have happened it would have been a 15 point victory. We play again tomorrow night against Ironton, which should be a big blow out for the Tomcats!

I just returned from the game as well and I thought the officials were consistent all night. They called the exact same fouls at both ends of the court. They're were alot of fouls but they were all consistent IMO. Whether you agree with the way the officials are calling a game or not, being consistent is very important IMO. They did clamp down on the fouls but all 3 called the same way on both ends of the court. JMO!!

For some reason, I have an easier time believing your version.

For those of you who attended is Boyd overrated?

Where was Boyd County rated in the preseason coaches poll?

Not sure but most on here felt like they were 6th or so.

I suppose by these comments that Bob Kouns wasn't calling the game. What 5 point swing?
