I think they should wait until after the entire season is over. If you are going to give a trophy to "the best player in college football", you might want to wait and see how those players play in the biggest game if the year (Bowl Game). I don't mind them announcing the finalists now but at least wait until after the Bowl games to announce the winner.

 

IMO, it will be very close between Tebow & McFadden when the final votes are tallied but just based on his team's performance throughout the season, Tebow wins it. McFadden should win it because he is the best college football player in the nation. Spectacular numbers "thrown" up Brennan but his schedule will definitely hurt him. Chase Daniel is an awesome cinderella candidate but he will come in last.

McFadden should win it, but it will be Tebow....

I'm glad Brennan got an invite, but he's got no shot at winning. My vote goes to Tebow, but I still hate him.

Tebow is a product of the system he plays in, why is he on this list?

He should not & did not get an invite for the fact that he did blow his knee out. You are right, had he not blown his knee out, he might have won the thing & he for sure would have been there in place of Daniel.

McFadden should get it. He played for a not so great team and done all he could, for the second year in a row.

 

No pity here. That's what he gets for choosing Arkansas....

McFadden gets close solely on his performance against LSU. And there just may be enough voters who won't vote for a soph on principle to swing it to McFadden when all is said and done.
