I wasn't at the game, but if Henson dominated on the boards so well, wouldn't the addition of Carloton down there along side with Henson make for more domination down low?

I would ask define "a little". I'm not saying that one player makes a difference, but adding him into the mix with Maddox and the rest would have helped the Wildcats and possibly not sent the game to overtime.

Apparently, you don't know much about the Wildcats program. Especially the "I" in team comment. These kids have been on the court together for quite some time. I respect your opinion, but unless you have followed these kids for some time, posting something like that is a bit reckless. IMO:thumb:

Well, A Little meant that I've seen him play in a few games. But people are saying that he would have changed the whole outlook of the game, I think not. I mean he is s olid player and yes, would have added to Gallatin's toughness, but I still don't think this would have made the game a blow out or anything. Walton played tough and played solid. Gallatin played great. I'm just saying that one player wouldn't have changed and made this a ten point or fifteen point win. Maybe your right, maybe it wouldn't have gone to over time, or what not, but Carlton wouldn't have changed the whole game. No matter who was out on that floor, it was going to be a fast tempo game, with passion and heart, and a game to the wire like it was. IMO! :p

It would have made a difference because Walton would of got at least two free throws and the ball. He is always good for one in these games.

SpillyWilly, you seem to follow Walton. Do you think Carlton would have changed this whole game? Or have such a big impact as some are saying? Trying to see your Opinion.

About like a certain big man for walton last year... :D :sssh:

But Carlton could have made the game much different. Henson had a field day on the boards and if Carlton was there, He would have cleaned up most of the missed bunnies that Henson couldnt get to.

Why can't everyone just give credit where credit is do? Both teams played very well. It was a great game, just like they always are when these two teams play. I think the boys respect each other and their games, so let's just give them the credit, and move along.

I agree!:ylsuper:

Isn't there a Sullivan that plays for Walton who's mother is an Anderson?

To be honest yes it would have changed the game he hustles on the inside and he likes to bump bodies which Walton does not this year. But on the other hand he does have a temper and it gets him in trouble sometimes. So you really can't say for sure. I belive these two teams will meet two more times this year and he should be there for those games, so we will see.

An interesting stat. Walton-Verona 10-32 from beyond the arc. Gallatin 2-3.
