Who was injured on the team? They all looked fine to me. And 3 weeks. Thats plenty of time to get back into basketball. Their already in shape from football.

Basketball "shape" is different from football "shape".

.What you mean. I understand that their different. But shape and shape is the same thing. Their young, and kid's. They all looked fine to me. :fight:

Not sure about the :fight:, but in football, "shape" means explosive speed and strength. The average football play lasts about six seconds. In basketball, "shape" means being able to run for much longer periods of time. Most football players need a couple of weeks or so to recondition their bodies into basketball shape.

It was a hard fought game for both teams! Gallatin had their hands full tonight. When Gallatin finally gets it together, they are going give some teams a rough way! I can't wait to see the rematch.;)

Why do they not have it together now? Walton-Verona has a very solid team. I realize that Gallatin will get better before the next match between the two, but so will Walton. I am sure the rematch will be another close one. :thumb:

Thank you! Totally agree. Everyone is saying that Gallatin was down, and wasn't to their full talent and skill but Walton-Verona is a solid team.!. You can't just say Gallatin is so much better. Just wait to the rematch to see who's better then!

You are 100% right TB&G! Football shape is alot different than basketball shape. Ask any person that plays both and they will agree.

I guess I agree with you!

I can prove to you that gallatin was down. Carlton did not play tonight. There is atleast 10 points stopped on defense, and 10 points or more on made on offense.

One player does not make a team. Was Scott Co. down when the Wildcats played them? I mean Bud Mackey was not playing and they still came away with a victory. The Scott Co. Cardinals are proving that just one player does not make or break a team. They are without their Mr. Basketball candidate and still ranked in the top 5 in the state.

Great example here......You are Comparing apples to oranges. Lose a d-1 player replace him with a d-2/NAIA player not to mention 6-7 and 6-7 bookends to erase all your mistakes. With that being said, if I recall the game on Saturday, Gallatin did come out with the victory. There is no reasons to make excuses, we won the game. We will take it and move on to Williamstown. :thumb:

You really proved it there! Too bad he missed the game, he always makes for some good entertainment.
