I hope you're not talking about the use of Xmas, are you? Because that came about from the Greek word for Christ. I always find it funny when people get all uptight about the abbreviation.

Happy Holidays. Have you put up your "family" tree yet?

We will be decorating our tribute to the fertility god this weekend.

In my room at school, we put up a Chemis-Tree. Of course, we will leave it up the rest of the school year and decorate it for Valentines Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter and Graduation.

That is exactly what I'm talking about. I don't speak Greek, and I can assure you that the majority of people that use Xmas don't do it because of that, . Some people also refuse to say Merry Christmas for fear of offending someone. Instead they usually say Happy Holidays.

Both of the above are stupid. I think the United States needs to get over "political correctness" and remember the morals and constitution we were founded on. Which definitely included God!!!!
