Steelers planning no changes for field on Sunday night.

Featured Replies

The league loves to tell players what they can and cannot do, I wish the same would apply to owners having to provide a suitable field.

I think that is a bad move on the part of the Steelers. My guess is on a dry field they would have beat the Fins by more than 3.

There was a story I read somewhere this morning that mentioned the Dolphins/Steelers game ended up being one of the highest rated Monday night games for ESPN this year. There was a point in the game when it hit 11 million viewers. Just insane.

I know Carson is healthy and everything, but playing on those conditions would bother me a great deal.

Bet the under!!!

I dont think the field could be as bad as it was Monday.

Your probley right.

A few dry days leading up to it will certainly help, but even if it's dry Sunday, I doubt the field will be in good enough shape to lead to the track meet the Bengals would like.

I think they may have considered making some changes if they had the time but with a short week and poor weather what options did they really have? Their field is always a mess towards the end of the season, you just can't play that many games up north on the real stuff without damage. I think we'll see some field turf installed for next season.

Well I may well pick up the Bengals D then :D

If they were to go to field turf how long would it take to put it down?
