My favorite game of the year is this Saturday.

That one was pretty lame. When my son was at WP, the cadets were told they needed to tone down the videos, because some of them got to be pretty crude. They show them on the jumbotron at the game.

 

Nothing like the pagentry of the Army-Navy game. Yeah, the teams may suck, but you'd never know it come gameday. Great, great game to be at.

My favorite part of the day is before and after the game. I love watching the alum like McCain come in and inspire the players. The passion they still have for this game is amazing. The entrance made by the cadets and midshipmen is great. The singing of the alma maters after the game is a beautiful end to the day.

And there's a Mason County connection. Jordan Murray plays safety for Army. And I'm pretty sure that he intercepted Brady Quinn last year, ending his long "consecutive passes without an interception" streak.

I'm an ARMY vet, but I know that Navy has the game and it's theirs to lose.

 

I would LOVE to see one of these games in person.

I love this game gives me chills when you see all the recruits march out in their uniforms. If I had to do it over I might have went to one of the military academy's but thats life I suppose. It's just great to watch all these guys who are playing a game knowing that it's just a game and they are about to go off and do much more important things.
